Shirts

Hello, I have an announcement about the graze t-shirts. I’ve ordered more of them, and I’ve added a size, and also decided to do away with some sizes. Specifically, I’m doing away with the women’s shirts because: 1. it’s way, waaay too complicated to deal with that many sizes at shows. It’s ridiculous. It really is. And 2. as far as I’m concerned, t-shirts are t-shirts. It’s true that I don’t have breasts, technically, but in fairness, I also don’t not not have breasts. Sizes will now be: Men’s S, M, L, XL, XXL. I also still have some women’s shirts, in the following sizes and colors. Olive: S, M/OS, L. Brown: S, M/OS. Buy them before they’re bought’en!

Things

  • I have a track called “conditions” on the latest Ball of Wax audio quarterly put out by Levi Fuller. You can buy a copy (19 songs!) at www.ballofwax.org for $4. I’ll have it for sale up here at some point in the future, and I’ll probably have copies at shows.
  • I’m playing at the Funhouse tomorrow at 9:30pm with Southerly, Snowdrift, and Open Choir Fire. I’ll be solo for the most part, but Seth and Jeffrey should be joining me on a few songs, which will rule.
  • Both the graze and Rosyvelt are in the midst of recording albums. I’ve been saying that for a while but it’s true, just slow. I’m hoping to have a five song demo ready in the next month or so.

And that’s about it.

Crocodile

Here’s a poster that Jeffrey designed for our show Wednesday at the crocodile:

It’s pretty. By the way, you should go. To the show I mean.

Last Friday

A few weeks ago my pal Robb asked me if I would play bass for him at a show, as his usual bass player was to be out of town. Robb is a rock god, so I said yes, and on Friday I got to play with him and drummer Eric Eagle at ToST. It was a lot of fun, and once again Robb proved to a room full of people that he’s one of the best singers and songwriters in town — if you haven’t checked out Robb’s Tree Mind project (not to mention his other band Dear John Letters) then you need to visit this website: thetreemind.com. Do it! Right now!

I’ve heard it a million times, but I never knew what “kitty corner” meant until I took this test.
